Symbiotic Engineering is providing Holy Cross Energy (HCE) a fully functioning Sustainability Information Management Information System (SIMS) that imports monthly consumption data from all electric meters across five counties in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The SIMS has been used by HCE to help with a number of program outreach and rate structure efforts. One program highlight has been the use of the SIMS to identify commercial customers whose energy use per square foot is higher than similar businesses’ and who has seen their electricity use increase over the last year. This list of businesses has enabled HCE to more effectively focus their resources on the high opportunity business for their energy efficiency programs.
